Desty Menu is a restaurant technology product that provides a QR-based ordering system to enhance operational efficiency for F&B businesses. It offers an integrated mobile digital menu with seamless payment options, designed for restaurants, hospitality, and digital booking services. Desty Menu improves the customer ordering experience, helping businesses increase sales while reducing operational costs.
As a Designer, I was responsible for conceptualizing the first design iteration and conducting concept testing.
Why did we want to introduce QRIS?
The current Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) is expensive for merchants.
Examples:
Merchants find the 2-3% transaction fee too high, so we needed to provide a more affordable alternative. QRIS emerged as the solution, allowing payments from e-wallets and banks at a lower fee of only 0.7% per transaction. Additionally, QRIS is becoming a widely adopted payment trend in Indonesia, and several merchants requested this option.
Although QRIS is well known in Indonesia, Dynamic QRIS (which requires downloading and uploading a QR code) is not as familiar.
